The Mesothelioma Group, Mesothelioma.net & Mesothelioma and Asbestos Awareness Center

The Mesothelioma Group is a charitable organization supporting the National Alliance for Caregiving and Cancer Care. Because the average age of diagnosis is 60 and symptoms are easily mistaken for less serious illnesses, early detection and awareness for mesothelioma is crucial in improving survival rates. Any individual or family that is diagnosed with or knows someone with cancer deserves to have the best information and support available. Our goal at the Mesothelioma Group is to increase awareness, improving survival rates and life expectancy.

Senior LinkAge Line

The Senior LinkAge Line® is the Minnesota Board on Aging’s free information and support service. Provided by six Area Agencies on Aging, it serves every county in Minnesota linking seniors, caregivers and families to local services.

Senior Community Services (SCS) of St. Louis Park

For 60 years, Senior Community Services (SCS) has provided support services to seniors and their families. Programs include outreach programs with licensed social workers and insurance and Medicare counseling.

Senior Program at Lenox Community Center

The Senior Program, part of St. Louis Park Community Education, is available to residents age 55 and older. The programs vary from ballroom dancing and arts programs to tours and education, the Senior Program has something for everybody.

St. Louis Park

St. Louis Park offers a diverse and exciting environment for its residents. Shops, restaurants, entertainment, education and the arts are all available in this community of 10.8 square miles.

Residents of the Park have access to varied social, religious, economic, educational and recreational opportunities.  Its close proximity to Minneapolis places all that the City has to offer at their doorstep.  And its 51 parks and miles of trails make the outdoors part of their life all year around.

YMCA

Ridgedale YMCA, Minnetonka

The Ridgedale YMCA offers fitness for everyone. Offering studio classes, fitness machines, a walking and running track, indoor lap pool, whirlpool, sauna, basketball/volleyball/racquetball courts, Pilates, personal training, kids fitness, daycare, pool tables, table tennis, free computer wireless and a Senior Room for Coffee and Meetings, the Ridgedale Y is a great place to get fit.

Southdale YMCA, Edina

Like the Ridgedale YMCA, the Southdale YMCA is the perfect place to step-up your fitness. The amenities offered at Ridgedale are available at Southdale with the exception of racquetball/volleyball courts and the running & walking track.  But, along with the indoor lap pool Southdale offers a warm water leisure pool, zero-depth entry pool, and a vortex pool.

Metro Mobility

Metro Mobility provides transportation for those who cannot use regular fixed-route buses due to a disability or health condition.
